Which one the pundits was the one who kicked Neil Lennon and threated the FA to retire from internationals if they got punished?? its one of the pundits but dont know who
How dare Lennon attack Shearers foot like that -
Re: Joey Barton threatens to expose 'toad' Gary Lineker
Joey Barton - compulsive cheat, compulsive ****, compulsive liar.
He said on Twitter at the beginning of the season that he 'as a pacifist I don't need violence to sort my problems'. Lol.
He's also previously said that he's fedup of 'poofters playacting and over-reacting' - perhaps he should take a look at how he got Gervinho sent off in the first game of the season.
I don't believe his claims that he was 'on the verge of signing for Arsenal' either.
Colossal prick. -
Re: Joey Barton threatens to expose 'toad' Gary LinekerNail on head.(Original post by marcusfox)
So he went on Twitter to defend himself against being called out for his behaviour... and went completely off the wall??
That's comparable to Stan Collymore on Twitter reacting to allegations of wifebeating, and daring anyone who calls him violent on Twitter to come and say it to his face.
He was completely baiting Newcastle fans a couple of months ago banging on about how O'Neil's Sunderland was going to finish above Newcastle this season.
I was pretty ****ed off so I asked him about his violent history.

Re: Joey Barton threatens to expose 'toad' Gary Lineker
Joey Barton spends his time on twitter trying to create the impression that he knows more than he actually does. Nothing new here, he's just changed tack from google searching 'inspirational [sic] quotes' to giving it the schoolyard 'I know your secret, oh yes I do' nonsense.

He's at it again. Saying how hard he works whilst he's laying by the pool in Portugal, knowing he won't play until at least October. Tough! -
Re: Joey Barton
I think it's worth mentioning that had the referee done his job correctly, and managed the situation how he as the referee is expected to then we would only be talking about an elbow.
Once he knew he was sending off Barton he should have isolated him away from all the other players. Instead he flashed the red with a sea of players between himself and Barton. Mike Dean lost control of the situation and never once tried to re-gain it, that was left to Micah Richards. A referee of that calibre and experience really shouldn't be getting the basics so appallingly wrong. -

Moving him to one side would have meant he still had to pass the crowd of players on his way to the tunnel, and as indicated by his twitter comments it would always have been his intention to incite a response from the City lot. Whether that would have instead meant going towards balotelli on the bench straight away remains to be seen. -
Re: Joey BartonWe'll never know. He got it wrong though, and his assessor would have marked him down for it.(Original post by marcusmerehay)

Why is there such a 'hardman' around guys like this?
if anything they are the first to run off after pissing off the wrong guy. -
Re: Joey Barton
I'd say this is a pretty apt article summing up my thoughts of Barton and breaking down what is pretty much the Twitter myth of Barton.
