I've failed two elective modules! How is this going to affect my degree?
I'm a first year student at Leeds University Business School.
Basically at the start of semester I was way too excited about freshers and ended up picking unsuitable elective modules. For various reasons I wasn't allowed to change them.

Now I've failed both of them, they're worth 10 credits each. So basically I have failed 20 credits of electives.

In my other modules I'm averaging mid 60's and 70's. So I was wondering how the 2 failed electives will effect my overall mark in the first year? Could I still get a 2.1???

I don't know how your school runs things, but many schools have a 100 credit pass through to second year, and first year counts for nothing, so all in all it shouldn't affect your degree at all. I'd contact your school for more accurate answers though...
