Did anyone else get the email about changes to entry requirements? So upset about the change to Modern Languages... an offer of AAB would have been perfect
Yeah I'm upset too! If I apply for Russian that will be my highest offer :/

My ideal situation would be to have an A*AA offer from Cambridge, and then an AAB offer from Durham, but as I don't think I'm Cambridge material it would have been amazing to have an AAB firm

Yeah, I got that e-mail, but don't see how I can be disappointed considering Nat Sci was already A*AA

Same, although I was also thinking about Exeter as my insurance, which has AAB as well, so that's probably more sensible... unless they change too

You have 12 A*s at GCSE and are doing 6 AS Levels, 1 GCSE and an EPQ.

If that's not Cambridge material than I don't know what is...

Unfortunately I'm struggling quite a lot with my AS levels, and I don't seem to have done as much extra work as most Oxbridge people do! Also, to be perfectly honest, I'm not sure that I could handle the work. But thank you for the vote of confidence

Yeah done. I didn't want to put you up there unless you specifically asked, I just wanted to make sure I don't put someone on a list they for some reason don't want to be on.

Oh, and I made this: http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/wiki...age_2013_Entry

Just ask to be filled in, or of course DIY!
Nice job on setting up the page. If you need help with anything (which I doubt but) feel free to ask me.

If anyone wants me to add them just ask!

I'm not going to add myself until I'm sure about which course I want to apply for. But I'm definitely considering Durham.

thanks, they were the nicer exams though. Your GCSEs are pretty good!

Did/ do you have exams this summer? As in mocks for pre-U... It's been so long since I haven't had external exams in the summer... must be quite nice. Next year will be hard though

    You're too modest...

Oh yes, I only do Pre-U Physics lol so I'm still in the middle of AS modules. And I do have an internal exam that will determine predicted grade so there's still revision to be done etc.

Course applying for: Geography Bsc or BA (undecided)
    College applying for: Unsure.
Studying currently: Just finished AS Maths, Geography, History and Physics.
1st choice?: Since I doubt i'll get into Cambridge, probably, but I'm not even sure if I stand a good chance at Durham :/ Pretty sure I'll have 3 As but probably a C in physics since I failed the exam, and the Durham offer is A*AA so a C at AS in something that could be seen as relevant to the Bsc won't exactly look great..
