Is there a way to delete subscribers on YouTube?
I have a subscriber on YouTube, with the username of ♥

This person does not even have a channel.

I am pretty sure it's a joke account from someone from my work.

I have Googled extensively but there doesn't seem to be a way to remove subscribers.

I know about Inbox > Address Book > but I don't get the option to remove subscribers by doing it like that, for some reason.

You used to be able to do it via your Channel but I just tried and that option has been removed . When you say they don't have a channel do you mean they don't use it? Try blocking them on their channel.

Nowadays everything is linked to Google, isnt it?

If you have a gmail account, then you also by default have a YouTube account. BUT you do not have a YouTube Channel until you specifically make one, such as adding videos yourself, or commenting on other videos.

You can like/dislike/subscribe without even having a channel.

When you click on their names, you get a message saying 'this channel is unavilable'.

It's so annoying, I hate the new privacy features on YT and FB.

Ah right I see what you mean now. That is annoying . Is there any way to get to their gmail account and block that? If they're not doing any harm then I'd just ignore them as they will get bored eventually. I hate the new YT full stop but nothing will stop Google from ruining it to meet their own agenda .

I dont think there is a way to force people to unsub to you, but if they are doing nothing then I guess you could just leave them. If they are dropping annoying comments you can just block their user from posting comments on that video
