Re: What to eat before exams? This. Even if you haven't had breakfast, if you've worked, I think even lack of food won't mean much, (within reason, don't starve yourself), so type of food wud have even less of an affect on performance.(Original post by the man from space)
food?
on a serious note, avoid junk food and eat normally, there isnt a special diet which gets you an A -

Re: What to eat before exams?
I tend to have an actual meal but just in smaller form; my mum's a babe so she'll make me a small portion of pasta bolognaise or a bacon and cheese toastie with baked beans etc. Otherwise my tummy rumbles in the exam because I burn through food so quickly (like cereal only lasts me an hour) and I just can't handle it

Re: What to eat before exams?
I'd just keep it simple. Cereal for morning exams and for afternoon exams I'd probably have some pasta or a quick sandwich. What you eat isn't really important, but I wouldn't have junk food (chocolate, energy drinks) for afternoon exams, because you're more likely to have that 'afternoon crash' (blood sugar rise and fall) which will make your concentration worse, cause headaches, etc which you really don't want to happen in the exam.

Re: What to eat before exams?
Tea and nuts are said to be excellent for a pre exam breakfast .. Apparently they help to fight stress and stomach problems ! Wholegrain bread, porridge and fruits are also good.
I agree with @taamuuu, energy drinks but also coffee and sweets/biscuits as snack have to be avoided !! -
