i eat eggs for breakfast most exam days, because theyre slow release and keep me full. plus, omega fats for your brain!
fish is also another good option.
salads, fruit etc.
basically try and eat healthily, junk food will only slow you down, plus if you happen to be in the exam right after a heavy, stodgy meal, you will have a dramatic drop in energy, which will make it hard to concentrate.
drink lots of water to keep yourself awake and keep headaches at bay, and limit caffeine.
if you're allowed, take a small snack into the exam. i like things like sultanas, or even small bags of sweets, just to keep your energy levels constant.
i never go into an exam when i'm super full or super hungry. both make for bad energy levels, and possibly feeling sick. also if i'm hungry, all i think about is food rather than the actual work! -

Genuinely don't think it makes a difference. Eat what you want and drink what you want. As long as it's not Scotch...
