For 45 mark, I will always get a choice of at least 2 questions and for the 15 mark, I will always get a choice of at least 3 out of 5. Im really just so lazy that i probably wouldnt do it any other way.. ! -

Internal checks and balances
internal fragmentations
safeguarded civil liberties,etc
Talk about the negative aspects of democracy for liberals.
All show why liberals fear power. -

How does that work? You're asked to do 3 questions, if you have revised 3 ideologies (liberalism/conservatism/anarchism) then surely you would just do those 3 questions?
Ahh i see what you mean now.. the anarchism and marxism question - thats fair enough, but if you do anarchism in the text book, it explains the links and differences of the two regarding the state..
Not necessarily, as explained earlier, in January 2012 if you had totally passed on socialism, you only had 2 questions from the 15 markers which related solely to the other ideologies.(Original post by peachesandcream77)

Plus there is no guarantee that a 45 marker won't be repeated, as in 2 questions from the same ideology. I very much doubt they'd do that, but it's possible and the last question could be a nightmare!

Socialism is defined by full equality and so parliamentary socialism would find it difficult to accept capitalism and at the same time provide the equality prescribed by Marx et al.(Original post by Fofo)

On the other side you could say that parliamentary socialists have argued that capitalism is the only means tested way of providing actual prosperity and it can be harnessed (Keynesian), therefore wealth can be redistributed and thus support equality and social justice. -

don't see how u can do anarchism without socialism, considering basically a lot of anarchsim is modified marxism.
