    Scarborough Campus Accommodation?
Possibly going to Hull uni, Scarborough campus in September to do web development.

I'm thinking of staying in the university managed accommodation, anyone else doing this?

Also if you have any information or photos about any of the accommodation it would be much appreciated!

I stayed in the halls last year and they are very modern. The rooms are quite small but have a single bed, wardrobe, desk and en suite bathroom so pretty much everything you need. The food included at the halls(you have no choice) is pretty awful and by the end of the year I wasn't eating there at all. I've been to the off campus sites and they are less modern but are cheaper and don't include the awful food. Overall, I enjoyed the halls because its 10seconds from lectures, block parties, easy to meet new people and its modern and gives you all the basics you will need.

    Hiya,
I'm currently at Scarborough and live in uni managed accommodation. I like it and they have done really well in putting me in a house with really nice people who are similar to me. I have put some pictures up on the post pictures of your dorm room thread. I really like my room. Yes it may not be on campus, but you soon get used to walking up to uni and it doesn't seem bad. In fact when its sunny it is nice to just walk on the seafront back from uni.

Feel free to ask me any questions you might have.

Hey, i'm currently at Scarborough in off-campus accommodation. I'm actually in one of the furthest from uni (Aberdeen House - smack bang in the middle of town), and I like it. It's a ten person house (but only 8 people in it since Christmas when 2 people left) with a massive living room/dining room and tiny kitchen.

I'm in a small room without an en-suite but I have a bathroom to myself anyway, just across the hall. The house is pretty old and was freezing for most of winter, but then again so was everywhere. It's really not that bad a walk, and there's buses for when you really can't be bothered. But I love not needing taxis home from nights out, being able to go to Tesco and back in under 5 minutes, being less than ten minutes walk from the beach, the walk back along the cliffs from uni... plus I have a gorgeous view of the castle from my bedroom window I'm going private next year and i'm actually going to miss it here. Hope this helped some :P
