Your not Yash from Berkshire are you?
Lol yes. Why?

Re: Edexcel Economics Unit 4: 20th June 2012Yeah, they had unit 6 exams every June (just like unit 4 in the new syllabus). If they had only those 3 papers (2005, 2008, 2009), they would have to do that unit in 2008 if they couldn't do it in 2005, right?(Original post by PPF)
are you sure there are even more that 3 exams for unit 6? maybe there are only 3?
But I can only find those three papers uploaded anywhere

Re: Edexcel Economics Unit 4: 20th June 2012Hmmm, theres enough though. To get a high grade. Im sure you can get an A* without them(Original post by ezioaudi77)

what resources are peoploe using to revise? is the phillip allan revision guide sufficient?
The phillip alan revision guide has been pretty good for other units, but nowhere near enough for this one
I'm gonna be using anderton, tutor2u, getrevising, pajholden anddd my own revision notes -

Re: Edexcel Economics Unit 4: 20th June 2012Phillip Allan is more a specification guide rather than revision guide. I believe it is written by the chief examiner so do not overlook it. Tutor2u is useful.(Original post by ugk4life)

Re: Edexcel Economics Unit 4: 20th June 2012If you pick things up quickly, then you can definately teach yourself units 1 and 2 as well as three. Unit 4 is a bit more tricky. There are many text books desiegned for the course that contain all the information you need. I'd recommend the one by Peter Smith - clearly written.(Original post by Yumnaarrhhh)
Hey guys, good luck with your exam!
Btw random question..about unit 1 and 2..do you think that it's possible to try and teach yourself? I'm doing my AS this year and I made the mistake of picking bio instead of this..so how hard would it be to teach yourself those 2 units?
Thanks
The only difficult thing is to motivate yourself to learn it on your own. -
Re: Edexcel Economics Unit 4: 20th June 2012hi. would u recommend me buying the peter smith book now for revision purposes given that the exam is pretty close and the book is large?(Original post by AKH)

My school gives students the big yellow and green textbook that is by Edexcel..is that any similar to the one by Peter Smith? If it is, then I can borrow one.
Motivation..yeah I think it may be a problem but i'll see how it goes

Re: Edexcel Economics Unit 4: 20th June 2012I have C4 too! Not too worried about it as it's a retake paper. Can't say the same for this one. I'm so worried that I will run out of time(Original post by ezioaudi77)
Me too
Got C4 the day after this exam, so just one day to do the "last minute revision"
