    can i get a good mark? please help.
    hi guys i do GCSE french. for the writing controlled assessment i achieved an A (2 marks off an A*). but unfortunately i got a C for my speaking! now say if i get a B for listening and a high A for reading. can i still achieve an A overall?

    was the C a high C or a low C? I think that if you do really well in the listening and reading you should be able to do it....

    Realistically, it depends on if the C is a high C or a low C. If the C is relatively high, i see no reason as to why you couldn't achieve an A, however if the C is low/average, you may struggle to reach an A. However, i felt the French exams this year were quite tough, as did many others, so it is possible grade boundaries are lowered and you could be in luck!
