    Higher English Romeo + Juliet Essay Plan
    Could someone please help me structure a Romeo and Juliet Crucial Error/ Turning point/ Important scene, influences the whole play Essay? I don't have very good Romeo and Juliet Notes.

    My Attempt would be;

    Intro

    Turning point;
    Act 3 Sc1Where romeo does not want to fight tybalt because he recently got married to his cousin. Mercutio is then killed and then romeo takes revenge on Tybalt, however realizes his mistake -"O i am fortunes fool" - theme of fate

    Lead up;
    Prologue says that they will die - "a pair of start cross'd lovers take their lives" - theme of fate
    Act 1 scene 4 - Romeo foreshadows death before entering the Capulets party - "some consequence yet hanging in the stars" - again fate.

    Implications on the whole play1;
    Act3 sc1 Romeo is banished because of tybalts death- (Quote from the prince sentencing him to banishment?)
    Act3 sc4 Capulet plans for Juliet's marriage because of tybalts death - "a desperate tender of my child's love"

    Implications on the play2;
    Act4 sc3 Friars Lawrence's plan to sort it - "Romeo, romeo, there's drink, i drink to thee"
    Act5 sc1 Romeo is then misinformed about juliets death - "i defy you stars"
    Act5 sc3 They die because of the events of the crucial scene - (Quote?)

    conclusion.

    I really suck at English and this is my attempt at a plan so please correct me and help me with the plan because i want to be prepared to answer any turning point related question in the drama section. - Also if you could add in the missing quotes which would work well that would be great, unless i need to change the plan completely.thanks

    As long as you write about fate at some point you should be fine, i usually write on Act 3 Scene 5 as i can use that for anything about conflicting characters or relationships because of Juliet and Capulet. Its also a key scene in the play
