I didn't see a thread on drama schools, probably because it has little to do with A-levels! People often give me weird looks when I tell them I'm not going to uni, I want to audition for drama school, and I think it's because drama school isn't really understood. The top drama schools are extremely competitive; more so than Oxford or Cambridge. In a sense, drama school is also a far more risky route than, let's say, studying medicine to become a doctor - with medicine there's a pretty much guaranteed job at the end, whereas drama school is just the start of a long, unstable road to the performing profession! So I thought I'd create this thread to discuss drama schools with anyone else who is interested
