    Personal Statement Different Subjects
    Hi

Basically, I am going to apply to drama schools - 3 of which I have to apply through UCAS. I'm applying for quite a few outside of UCAS as well. - But my other 2 spaces I am going to apply for Spanish in case I don't get in to drama school - to be on the safe side!

I was wondering how I would structure a personal statement to appeal to both drama schools and Spanish because they are not exactly linked.

Any help would be much appreciated!
    Thank you!!

If I were you I would devote a sizeable chunk to the extra-curricular part of the statement where you talk about drama and what productions you had been in etc. So maybe start with talking about Spanish and the more academic side, then perhaps you could link them in some way - is there any Spanish drama/literature you like?

You're not going to find that easy. If Uni's notice in your PS that you're swaying towards a different course then they're not going to be too impressed. You need to show that you have passion for the subject. They won't want to waste places on people who seem to have not made up their mind. You may as well just apply for all Drama and make your PS shine.

    Thank you guys!
See I would do that, but it is so unbelievably competitive to get on to any acting course....decisions decisions!

    Food for thought....
    thanks
