Re: Have you ever been hated by someone for no reason????
Long time back at university - I was bullied by my housemate. He did not like me - I think it was for number of reasons but did nothing wrong. He managed to turn everyone against me. Unfortunately I was powerless.
I think the problem lied with him than me as dont think he liked himself.
However the experience left me devastated. Unfortunately, if have any weaknesses then you are going to be disliked and picked on. This is then followed by hate. -

my maths teacher. We were learning differentiation and I didn't understand the meaning of "dy/dx" so i just put y (I carried out the differentiation apart from writing that), but when my teacher looked over it she had a massive go at me as if I had just soiled over her teacher and the laws of mathematics.

Re: Have you ever been hated by someone for no reason????
I’ve had some problems with my flatmate at uni and have never known why. He swears at me, picks fault with stuff i do, makes me the butt of jokes, that sort of thing. If there’s a reason, then I can’t work it out – our other flatmate can’t either so i don’t think it’s anything i’m doing. If it’s jealousy then it might be cos i’m on a course he wanted to do but didn’t get a place for, otherwise i’m stumped. My grades are better than his, but our other flatmate’s are better than both of ours... I have wondered if he just likes to pick on someone and i’ve had the bad luck of it being me. Reading everyone else’s posts i think that might be a similar theme.
I also saw that a lot of things seem to kick off while at uni. I think that might be because we’re suddenly meant to be adults and looking out for ourselves while not everyone has properly matured. As a result people think that now there aren’t consequences for their actions and there’s nothing the victim can really do, whereas if it happened at school the teachers/ their parents would come down on them like a ton of bricks. Also the expectation that bullying stops when people leave school doesn’t help, as if someone first gets picked on, they’re reluctant to call it bullying or do much about it cos it sounds like children having a squabble on the playground. -
Re: Have you ever been hated by someone for no reason????Ha thats sooo true!!! There was this one guy in my biology class who thought he was A-mazing and loved the sound of his own voice, unlike the majority of the class i recognised his anecdotes for what they were - complete bulls**t so i was the constant receiver of 'evils' and the classic "lets all have an outburst of laughter whilst she's looking so she feels intimidated". Ingenious!(Original post by Ham22)
I have found that when you're not meeting someone's expectations as an audience member for their bull****, they tend to dislike you.
OH GOSH HAHAHAHA YOU'RE SO FUNNY.
YES TELL ME MORE INANE ANECDOTES.
HAHHAHAHHA.
Better?

Re: Have you ever been hated by someone for no reason????
when i moved schools for 6th form, from day one i was bullied. Mostly by this guy who would constantly call me thick and stupid and everyone believed i was thick and stupid- even though id come from a grammar school.
I was bullied for apparently being a slut- even though i hadnt even kissed a guy at that point. I remember once i just walked into the 6th from common room and everyone was ******** about me and i heard people saying ''whats she doing here, no one likes her''. I would love to know what i did wrong. The few friends i did have there were as bewildered as i was.
There was also a party a year later with 1 of my actual friends, but all the nasty people were there. 1 of them decided to call me a slut to my boyfriend (bearing in mind id never even slept with anyone) and it caused a massive brawl. That party ended with a bang!
I would be called names just walking along the corridor. Suffice to say, I failed that year, moved to college and made better friends.Last edited by pinkangelgirl; 18-05-2012 at 14:39. -

Re: Have you ever been hated by someone for no reason????
I used to care about this stuff, then i realised
Nothing actually happens when people hate you, they're not breathing down your neck or stopping you from doing anything, so who cares? Why should you make it a priority for someone to like you when they didn't care about you in the first place?
Be who you want to be, and enjoy yourself
this website really helps

Re: Have you ever been hated by someone for no reason????Welcome to the life of people who are hated for what they are.(Original post by Mrx123)
Say at school or at a job, that one person that you see often and you've never said anything rude or offensive to them as well as never doing anything horrible or cruel to them......yet they still don't like you and you have no idea why.
This ever happened to you, if so explain your story to us
Whilst I can't say this has happened to me, I know some people who have been discriminated against for being gay (I am also gay) and I had never spoken, knew them or even knew anything about them.
People sometimes treat people for what they are instead of who they are. It is not right.

"Have you ever been hated by someone for no reason?"
Dear god yes. Probably half my secondary school used to bully me in Year 7 and Year 8, though it tended to be the chavvy, lazy scum from the nearby council estate that were at it (which funnily enough made up most of the dump, never missed that place). God knows why they did it, possibly because I was a loner (most of my friends went to grammar school). I finally made some friends in Yr9 so the bullying started to become rarer. When I moved to the next school to do Yr10 and 11, I hardly got bullied at all and whenever I did I usually had the last laugh. So far in college, I've had no problems whatsoever, and most of the people who used to bully me either live on benefits (since they can't be bothered to educate themselves), or have had the unfortuanate position of being parents due to their sheer ignorance. One of them even got sectioned last year

Re: Have you ever been hated by someone for no reason????
Oh yes.
A friend and I went our separate ways, and basically his new 'friends' all seem to have a real problem with me. Everytime they walk past they make a comment or give me a dirty look. Then there is this girl in one of my lessons who really, really hates me for no reason. For the last two years, she has tried to make my life utterly miserable. -
Re: Have you ever been hated by someone for no reason????Story of my life, made a girl cry 'cause I said something totally inoffensive in a dry-humour sarcastic way, is it bad this only added to my enjoyment?(Original post by Alpharius)
Of course.
My sense of humour is sarcastic. A lot of people are idiots that don't understand that what I say is in jest. People take life too seriously.
Yeah, she hates me for no reason. xD -
Re: Have you ever been hated by someone for no reason????
When I was 14, some upper sixth girl (so 17 or 18) that we didn't know at all, made up horrible nicknames for me and my friends, mine was "Wannabe Creepy Dyke".
I don't know why she picked us, or how she even knew we existed or what her deal was, but we thought it was kinda funny.
