for the advantages and disadvantages of work i put: ads: the work, the journey to work. dis: hours, colleges
anyone get the same?.

Anyone still unsure on 9) c) the answer was: 12% of gadgets are recycled, so they are worse for the environment than books.

I personally thought that she was in a bad mood when she went there as opposed to the shop assistants. Other than that I am fairly confident of my answers.

P.S. Read some other stuff online where lots of teachers were complaining about the e-readers question as their pupils didn't know what one was! So grade boundaries should be low.

Hope you do! How low do you want them to be?
Yeah because they like to stay "current" lol

Well, last year, listening for A* was 28/40 and A was 24/40, If they stay this LOW then i would be happy!!

Wasn't the work the example? :s-smilie: For advantages I put the journey and his colleagues, for disadvantages I put the hours and the salary (sure I heard 'salaire' in there!)

As for e-readers it was an PK question in that even if you didn't get all the info, it was easier than in some other cases to put a logical answer down.

My worst one was the 'banning of mobiles in schools' one - it sounded like they all said the same :frown: The family wasn't the best either... yeah so it was great!

People in my year took the exam using computers. It wasn't cheating to rewind because we were told we were allowed to, and we still had 40 minutes overall like we were meant to, it just meant that we could use the time how we wanted. Like I said, I lost a little bit of time with questions 9 and 10.

Also, the answer was Annecy for sure. The first time it played I listened specifically for the location and the second time I listened just for the activities. Worked very well.

This isn't allowed. Surely the teachers at your school know??

Hi Annnie!
The mobiles question with Samil et al was a big fat FAIL for me. But anyway, annotated with what I can remember! (Though you probably don't care anyway)

Good luck with your reading and other exams!

After the exam there was a big argument between clever people....

For the deciding which city to go to... loads of people put Annecy and loads put Nice....

I put Annecy... I'm sure that's what they finally agreed on....

Also, what did everybody get for the recycling e-readers Part 1 question? They spoke quite fast!

I back an unofficial markscheme.... anyone got one?

Edit: doing Higher....

I put Nice, so did most of the people I know

It wasn't. It was Annecy... my teacher said so afterwards
