    Italian as level edexcel
Ok so i am the only one sitting the Italian AS level exam on the 28th may and really nervous because this will be my first exam in Italian - not having done GCSE!

Just wanted to find out who else is doing it?

If you do some past papers you'll soon realise that even with only a year's worth of Italian it's not too challenging. I started it this year in college and I'm sitting the GCSE alongside the AS level this May, hoping for a B too!

hey guys.... i did my oral and i think it went quite well i got the topic on 'mammoni'

however my teacher then went onto say the relationship between politics and youthful generation of today and then also questioned me about voluntary work....

did anyone get anything as hard as that? i was hoping for a simple topic of music or something!!

Also how are you revising for this exam? and do you know many other people doing this exam?

This will also be my first Italian exam. I only started learning in September though- did you learn before this?

I'm really nervous, I'm not exactly what you would call a natural "linguist". My teacher said I did quite well in my oral, but still :/

Just going over vocab! That's all we can do at this stage I think. Oh, and going over past exam papers.

Sono di Milano..... Si credo che il massimo sia 220 parole oltre a quel numero non puoi andare, perche' potresti rischiare di essere penalizzato ..... vivi a Londra?

too true, i was never taught any widespread italian only southern dialect, the worst part it's a really small village in the south, harder than napolitan and every word is so different as well as the tenses. i am now doing this exam tomorrow with very little hope, thanks dad for not teaching me any proper italian

You can use both......because one is single and the other is plural.......they are both grammatically right ..
