Does anyone have an idea, of marks out of 55, for an A or B grade?
Could be 30 for an A*
30-34 for A* is a good range
26-29 for an A -

Could someone help me here? I'm not sure what mark my chemistry coursework was at. I was at 38/40, then redid it and tried to get it up to full marks. So I'm guessing I got 39/40. That's about 98 UMS I think. I got 46 on both the C123 and C456, so that's 92UMS.
98 + 92 = 190 UMS, so I need 80UMS in this to get an a*. This is an A I think but it's on the boundary, can anyone guess the raw mark needed for this? Pretty worried, things had gone well but I blanked a little today. :\ -
Re: OCR GCSE Chemistry A- C7 + Ideas In Context, May 24th 2012. OFFICIAL THREADThey were mean as usual babes(Original post by HHJ)

For the volume one I put 25cm^3 for the water and 975cm^3 for the stock thing to make 1dm^3 I only did that because the other one used 25cm^3 of water. I think I got that one wrong then.
Didn't go too badly the only problem I have looking back on it is that I went to 4 dp's with the values because I was revising probability for add.maths, and they want you to give 4 dp's... I hope the examiner doesn't mind!
Also I wrote below the given lines a few times i hope that'll be okay aswellLast edited by ZakariaMar; 24-05-2012 at 17:00. Reason: . -
Re: OCR GCSE Chemistry A- C7 + Ideas In Context, May 24th 2012. OFFICIAL THREADIf you get 26 or 27 in this exam paper then you will get an A* overall. This is using last years grade boundary.(Original post by Disintegration)
