Ugh, I got the radius for the circle q, but couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get the centre. So stupid. How did you guys get that?

If you looked at the diagram carefully. The centre of circle 1 is symmetrical to the second circle at line p. You knew the coardinates of P and Q so you could have just chosen one of those points and looked how do you have to go down and how long you had to go in left in the x- axis to get from Centre Of circle 1 to P. then just by looking at the diagram, circle were congruent. So You just had to go the same number of units left and same number of units up the way From P. You could of done it the same way bt using Coardinates of Q. Sounds confusing but i don't have the exact co-ordinates of P and Q so kind of hard to explain

Anyone have a scanned and cleanish copy of Paper 1? My computer doesn't like the photos haha
The last few questions in Paper 2 were appalling!

For question 3 of paper 2, I got Maximum = 6 and Minimum=-2. Anyone got different?
For the shaded are on paper 1 did anyone get 32/3 or am I completely wrong?

70% for an A??! That's not much of a decrease... considering how hard the calculator was, it should be going down to a 66% at least...

In my school, a guy started crying halfway into the calculator paper. And the maths teachers ran up to us afterwards looking as if they were dreading the worst.

I thought 2011 was hard and that was 75% for an A.

Was the circle centre (-3,3) and radius root10?

It you're talking about 2b) in the calc paper, then no... I think it was (-5,5) and the radius was root 40
For the circle question my answer was:

(x+3)^2 + (y+5)^2 = 40

Something along those lines.

Think I got 36/40 marks in MC!
