Re: C1 May 2012 Post Exam Thread - Paper and Solutions in the FIRST POSTSo frustrated spent 15 mins on the surds didnt know how to get it in the form root a + root b, then as soon as I came after the exam it hit me that you had to turn the denominator at the end which was 2, to root 4. FFS..
Wasted my time and ran out of time, but was ok.
Any of these answers sound familiar to ppl? They're just numbers that are in my hed.
19/2 for a co-ord.. -

Agreed - am a bit gutted as I thought C1 was a chance to get full UMS but know for a fact I've missed that.
Really hoping to get 100 UMS.
I thought the paper was much more difficult in general and the grade boundaries for June have normally been lower for the past couple of years.
Most questions seemed alright, but got stumped on the parallelogram and ended up spending waaaaaay too much time on it, time that probably could have been spent checking and fixing stupid mistakes I probably made earlier in the paper. -

Re: Edexcel C1 16 May 2012 Post Exam Thread - Paper and Solutions in the FIRST POSTyo mate, you made a mistake. LOOK AT QUESTION 6B) C(onstant of intergration) SHOULD = 7 not 6.|| -1 = -8 + c therefore c = 7 not 6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!
