Re: C3 June 2012 - Post Exam Thread - Solutions and Paper in the FIRST POSTI know exactly how you feel! I found the exam harder then all of the previous ones, but it was still kinda easy! Then I go and make stupid mistakes through out the paper and now will either get 90 or less :l(Original post by Dixie)
same i screwed it up with careless mistakes but its annoying coz people who found it hard would have lost like 5 marks so even though i found it alright ill get the same grade as people who foundd it hard, lol really annoying
My exam was on AQA though, but I don't think they'd give us an extra hard paper!(Original post by exam2k10)
Are you sure?
This is Edexcel we are talking about.
On another note, I really hope this paper is easy because I screwed up C3!
So far I've noticed
C1= Harder then usual
C2= **** easy
C3= Harder then usual
C4= Should be easy
(Hopefully)

Re: C3 June 2012 - Post Exam Thread - Solutions and Paper in the FIRST POSTI agree it was a pretty straight forward paper compared to what it could of been with harder trig questions, including inverse trig functions etc.(Original post by uzumaki1107)
So much love for this paper <3
Hoping for the same simple theme in c4 without any vectors questions or connected rates that are really tricky. -
Re: C3 June 2012 - Post Exam Thread - Solutions and Paper in the FIRST POSThow much do u think A will be?(Original post by Hulksmash)

Re: C3 June 2012 - Post Exam Thread - Solutions and Paper in the FIRST POSTwere also having to perish whilst having euro 2012 during our A2 exam period. valuable evenings spent watching greece humiliate russia, and england giving us false hope <3(Original post by exam2k10)
Probabily the worst C3 paper to date!
Now its the C4 crisis. The fact that the paper has been leaked means something
. Why is it always the 1993-1994 generation that have to suffer
?
Here are the downs for this generation
- We were the last to do KS3 SATS externally
- We were the first to experience harder papers
- We were the first to experience tuition fees rocket to £9K
- AND NOW, WE ARE ONE OF THE FIRST TO SIT A REPLACEMENT PAPER FOR C4!
Why is it always us that have to suffer, if I only I was born 17 days earlier. Would have done 1st of uni by now -
Re: C3 June 2012 - Post Exam Thread - Solutions and Paper in the FIRST POSTwhat would 70 be? i know it should be around and above 90 UMS but i dunno how they do it so i dunno how spread out it is, like would it just be in proportion to what you said above or what? haha basically im tryna see what i can afford to lose on c4 tomorrow ahaha
-
Re: C3 June 2012 - Post Exam Thread - Solutions and Paper in the FIRST POSTAccording to that, approximately 93 UMS(Original post by Dixie)

Re: C3 June 2012 - Post Exam Thread - Solutions and Paper in the FIRST POSTI doubt you'd lose any marks, as they never specified how many sf to give the angle to. The'd probably have an alternative mark scheme for that question, so they'll accept both rounding answers(Original post by Perci)
Arsey, with regards to Q. 8) b), I used 73.7, instead of 73.74 in further calculations as I thought 3 sf would be fine; as a result, my answer is ever so slightly off yours. Would I lose a mark or not?
I think there was a similar question in one of the 2010 papers... -
Re: C3 June 2012 - Post Exam Thread - Solutions and Paper in the FIRST POSTNot allowed to talk about it until midnight I think, I may be wrong and it may be later.(Original post by Gracevw)
arsey, will you be able to post todays C4 paper?
did anyone else take C4 today? how did you find it? i thought it was mostly okay, but there were a few trickier questions that could have gone either way really!
(Hopefully)
. Why is it always the 1993-1994 generation that have to suffer
.....i want the A* so badly
