Hey Arsey, could you please put up your grade boundary predictions in the first thread please  thanks!

I forgot to simplify in 7(b), I left is as 9/6(x^2)+54
Will I lost any marks for it?

Question does not ask for it in its simplest form. You will not lose any marks, I did the same thing.

Cheers Arsey! Messed Q1 up - silly addition but just been through, and I think I have 66/75 give or take  I need a B for uni so hopefully C4 won't be too bad and I will get my B

Well done/good luck/better luck next time everyone! (please circle appropriate answer :P)

I thought it was quite hard- not enough time to check answers/write down what I got :P
Feeling slightly more confident that I haven't completely failed after looking at the markschem- maybe around 60/75 if I didn't make any additional stupid mistakes..?

Can't believe I think I managed to misread iteration question as x0 = 0 rather than x0 = 1

Stupid loss of an easy 3 marks.
I count 48/75 , really upset past papers was getting around 67 , can anyone guess what 48 would be ??? Please say a C haha
For 6e) where you had to draw the exponential curves on the graph I didn't draw on the asymptotes because it didn't ask for them. Do you think I will lose marks for this?

And on 7b) is Arsey saying there is two answers? because I left mine like (1/6)cos^2(arctan(x/3)). Is that ok as a final answer?

Other than those things I'm a bit unsure about I reckon it all went pretty well  A* here we come!

Thank you so much  Really appreciate it. What were your opinions on the paper?

Cheers Arsey. How many marks do you think I would lose for not solving 3a) properly? I did it right up to root(3)sin3x + 3cos3x = 0 but I couldn't figure out how to solve so I just stuck in random pi values until I got the right answer and wrote that down.

Thank you SO much for always doing these Arsey - you're the best!
What do you think the boundaries will be like?

How many marks would I get for..

3a) only did the differentiation, couldn't find turning points
3b) My gradient was wrong but x and y values were right
7b) Only reached up to 1/6sec^2(2y)

Would appreciate it if someone could tell me, thanks

lost majority of the mark on 7b :frown: whyyyyyyyyyy :frown:

stay awake till now just to see this haha

For the differentiation questions i didnt put answers in their simplest form
For both i and ii, how many marks will i lose for that?
Reply 78
On question 6E would I lose marks for not adding in asymptotes/line of symmetry?
