    Its about money, if premiums for young drivers were originally low, why can't they just increase premiums everytime you crash? If young drivers were all that dangerous they'll just end up crashing and will still pay the high premiums which means insurance companies will earn the same profit. But no insurance companies set outrageous quotes initially, absolute bull****!

    Insurance companies don't care about anyones safety, just the cash in their pockets. Otherwise when the EU classed it as sexist to charge higher premiums to males, why did the car insurance companies use that opportunity to raise female premiums to that of males, instead of reducing male premiums to that of females?
