Re: AQA C1 16/05/2012 EXAM DISCUSSION Thread.I think it was the surprisingly large number of fractional answers in C1 that threw a lot of people. We are too used to seeing nice numbers that we don't realise that fractions are just as rational. I bet a lot of us will look at the C1 paper at a later date and think it just as simple as any other past paper we've done.

I certainly got something over 3 as the shaded area, think it was 52/3. But, I did get 32/3 for one of the area answers within that question. -

Hmm strange
I got the paper right in front of me now, it was 52/3
x^2-3x+5 lower limit 0 upper limit 4

And you'll end up with 52/3
Though, it's also dependent on the question before (co-ordinates of B) which I'm 95% sure was 4,9
So... yeah. -
