Re: GCSE Religious Studies OCR B: Ethics 1&2 exam.. 15th May.. How did it go?!?
I assume you sat the B604 unit today. I answered questions 2&8 and thought that question 8 was more demanding than question 2 personally. I also thought the question on inequality was fairly open. :-) How did you find it?

I answered questions 2 & 8 as well. I found both of them fairly OK-ish. In regards to the inequality question - i just wrote TONNES of quotes.. anything i could think of really. Stuff like 'There is no Greek or Jew' and 'God created man in his image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them'. How do you think you done?!?!?!? I reckon i should be able to get an A overall for christianity and i'm hoping to absolutely ACE my Islam paper - Hoping for and overall A*.. And good luck with the rest of your exams man..

Re: GCSE Religious Studies OCR B: Ethics 1&2 exam.. 15th May.. How did it go?!?The inequality question was a 6 mark question.. If my memory serves me correctly it asked: 'Describe some attitudes christians might have towards the role of men and women' not too sure if it was roles of men and women in society or just in general but yeah..(Original post by 07sid)
what was the inequality question?

Re: GCSE Religious Studies OCR B: Ethics 1&2 exam.. 15th May.. How did it go?!?
I was thinking of the 3 mark question on how Christians might challenge inequality but still
Are you taking the full course? The whole of our course revolves around Christianity
I took the B603 in January and got an A:-) Am I right in thinking that the B601&2 are a lot harder than the the other units?

Re: GCSE Religious Studies OCR B: Ethics 1&2 exam.. 15th May.. How did it go?!?Agreed.. Now it's all about the philosophy unit and then it's ALL OVER!!! + i was pleasantly surprised to discover that the grade boundaries are as follows: A* = 80% A= 70% etc.. (and the grade boundaries don't change unlike other subjects!!!!)(Original post by 07sid)
i think it was the challenging inequality one! but thanks
i sat both of these exams yesterday. I must say medical ethics was the best one
Prior to that i had been worrying over the how to get as many marks as possible because my teachers had been lying to me over the past 2 years (they said an A* was 90%) but now i can relax.. At least up until results day!!! -

Okay perhaps i was wrong
HAHA here are the grade boundaries for 2012 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Anthology-Po...7&sr=8-1-fkmr0
And even if you got 44/48 (which is 91%) you should have by all means got an A*. Was it a real exam, or just a mock, for if it was a real exam i strongly suggest you get your paper remarked!! -
Re: GCSE Religious Studies OCR B: Ethics 1&2 exam.. 15th May.. How did it go?!?i thought that the grade boundaries were lower only because it was the first year for the new style of paper :/ they may go up ahhhh! depending on how the whole country does(Original post by lebron_23)

Re: GCSE Religious Studies OCR B: Ethics 1&2 exam.. 15th May.. How did it go?!?
Hehe. I didn't really put any quotes, for the majority of the questions (especially on the ones regarding animal testing) I just wrote about agapae and, if we are made in God's image, we should bear some resemblence to Omnibenevolence.etc.etc.
Where did you hear about that?
