Although I'm against what you seem to be suggesting at the end - a ceremonial monarchy. We should give the royal family a plane and 24 hours to put as much of their stuff on as possible then kick them out!

But I do propose that we abolish the monarch altogether, none of this "ceremonial monarchy" stuff. That still gives them an importance they don't deserve, and in reality wouldn't change much.

I don't think it really does give them an importance? I mean, the Marquess of Lansdowne used to be one of the most important figures in the country. The position still exists now as a ceremonial title, but I don't think anybody gives a damn. xD

It's horsecrap but it's a compromise for people that somehow feel a speshul connection with the Royals. I'm only concerned with getting them out of power myself.
