    Moving house
Heya! I know it's exam time and all, but this just popped up in my head. How exactly do you move from one flat to another? I have to move all my stuff in 2 months from Ranmoor to city accommodation, and am wondering, because I have what seems like an inordinate amount of stuff.

Do you move your stuff by cab? Boxes or big bin bags? Move your stuff alone or get help?

Seniors' feedback would be great! Thanks!!

Well firstly see if you can overlap your new contract and your old contract by a few days so you have a bit of time to move everything accross.

Then generally before I move I go through all my clothes and send old ones to charity, and get rid of a load of old paperwork/bits and bobs I have acquired over the year that I no longer need. This normally gets rid of a fair bit.

I went to home and bargains and bought a load of cheap plastic boxes for storage in my new place (there's normally less storage in houses then halls), and also it makes things easier. If it's a fair trek then order a taxi with some boxes. See if you can get some of your new housemates to help you, in return for you helping them to move too.

I hope someone can help you back your line. Anyway, since you have tried moving, I just want to ask you some questions about it because we are planning to move a house this coming 3rd week of July. Is it necessary to hire a moving company services? I have also heard about Juno crates, are they good company in providing boxes for movers. I hope you guys can help me or someone can help me about necessary things in moving a house.

    Hiya,

I've used http://vanmansheffield.com/ in the past to help me move. They charge by the hour so it is worth meeting up with your future housemates/flatmates and organise the moving together. (They'll be happy to make a couple of stops)
