    3<3x<12 ?

    Exams in less than 2 hours...

    Split it in two, like this

    3 < 3x

    3x < 12

    Then solve each inequality, stick them together again, and there's your solution

    i thought it was ok... quite easy really compared with some f the past papers

    0<x<4 for the maximum length of x for the area question if anyone is wondering

    The total perimeter was 10y+3 and it had to be between 20 and 54 right?
    so 20<10y+3<54
    17<10y<51
    1.7<y<5.1
