    Changing course after first year?
Has anyone had any experience in changing courses after completing the first year? I realise it's not long till the year ends, so is it worth contacting my personal tutor about it or will they say it's too late?
Also it's a course in a different department, are they likely to allow this? I know I will have to start from year 1 again.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Your personal tutor will probably just pass you onto to someone more relevant (but that's not to say don't tell them). You'd probably be better contacting the relevant programme director in whatever department you're looking to change to.

Regarding this topic, would the £9000 p/a fees apply here as well for if you try to change course for next year? And I'm assuming you'd have to do it before the end of the year right? D:

As long as you have the entry requirements (A-levels, IB etc.) then they should allow it, as long as there's room on the course.

My flatmate is changing from Auto Engineering to Electrical Engineering and is only going to pay £3,375 per year.

Are they repeating first year or going straight into second year of the new course?
