    Hi can someone explain to me question 2)b) on the jan 2012 paper ~???P(B) or the whole part getting really stressed with that question dont get the logic.

    P(A u B)= P(A) + P (B) - P(A n B)

    As the events are independent, P(A n B)= P(A) x P(B)

    Hope that explains it.
