quite a few on the third floor, rest are nearly all gone. BUT, meridian court is so far away from city site compared to others :/

Yeah it wasn't my first choice but all the others had gone by the time I went to book it ! It's not too bad. You get a free bus pass and it's only 2 miles from city campus I think it said

yeahh I was well confused nearly everything was booked up when I checked it yesterday. Would have much preferred living right by the actual city centre. ah well. meridian court is all first year people yeah? some of the residences are mixed like that gill street isn't all first years. would be ****e if you're not with freshers

I went on at 9.30am on the morning it opened for booking and there was nothing left in the city centre! I haven't really seen many reviews but I'm sure most are freshers. I'm hoping anyway haha. You booked yours now then?

yhyh just hoping theres enough pissheads and people who go out :/ lool. 2mile trek aint bad, im used to doing alot worse and a free travel pass, can't complain.

Yeah that's what I was thinking! I did watch a YouTube video on the halls and they were all playing chess haha! This wa after I booked mine so I was about crying lol. Yeah I walk about 3 miles from a night out at home so it's nothing really and even a taxi will be like a quid each!

first floor and ground were basically fully booked, and second floor i didnt want a bedroom near kitchen or stairs. so third it is. gonna be annoying though having to walk down all the stairs for a smoke lol.

chess? noooooo. hahaha i was looking into private accom and just thinking about losing my 200quid deposit so I was close to the uni n city centre. but cant really afford to waste the money

Ah man that's pretty bad! It does say about a party at meridian so not everyone plays chess lol. What course you doing? And you found any others from meridian?

thats what i was thinking lol. im doing quantity surveying wbu? and my mates comin aswell but anyone else I dunno really, meridian seems to be full of everyone who was on late to book accom.

oh you doing a Btec? Im doing Bastard alevels. should get the grades though, retook my year so I got a few Ucas points from when I kinda flopped first year so just need Bs and Cs now.

yeah I chose trent aswell because it ain't stupidly far from birmingham so I can get back home for cheap and stuff aswell.


I dont even think trent give bursaries anymore, they just take money off your tuition fee instead but id rather have the extra spending money lol, you heard anything about the bursaries at all?

Yeah I'm doing a Btec. I have a levels as well but decided I didn't wanna go UNi so did another course. Now I really want to go haha. Yeah that's why I chose Trent. Iv got family in Nottingham too which is nice.

Iv heard that they aren't doing them anymore as well. There was a thread on here about it
