    Confused!!!
I am so confused with my student finance situation!!!

Basically I have had two years previous study meaning that I have to pay my 1st year fees.

However, I got a letter from Student finance saying that I have had 3 years previous study. I know that this is not true and can get proof from the university to say that I have only previously done 2 years.

When I spoke to them they said that I withdrew from my last course in March (which I didnt, it was the Dec before) and that I have had an extra year of funding.

The university have proof of when I left/withdrew from the course. Do you think it would be worth sending it in?

It's a bit weird that they're saying March instead of December, but wouldn't that still count as the same amount of years? It counts as you studying for 3 years if you spend any time at all in your third year. Or do you mean the September of your second year at university?

The second course i started was a january intake course so I didnt actually go into my third year. I have looked at the previous payments from them and I have only had two years of funding yet they are still saying three.

Even 1 day on a course counts as a year used up - whether you received finance or not.

If you're sure you only attended for 2 years (or part years, like I said, even if only 1 day) then send what evidence you do have and appeal.
