So many insect bites I've lost count...
I went out the other day stupidly with perfume on and got continuously swarmed by loaaaads of little black flies - I think they were midges. My arms are now covered in seriously itchy bites that almost look like volcanoes with small holes in the middle. I've bought cream but it says use it for 3 days and that's up tomorrow and it's still really quite bad. I've tried counting them, there's 3 on one arm and about 70 on the other (no joke!!).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I got an absolutely crazy amount of gnat bites all over my legs, feet and toes whilst away on holiday at christmas, they were SO itchy i literally did not know what to do, i was using anti itching cream like moisturizer it was that bad, then i read online to rub ice cubes over the bites until they go numb, then quickly wipe them dry and cover them in anti itch cream. Also it really does help no not scratch them, once you've started you simply can not stop :P so just whack some ice and anti itch cream on them and just leave them be.

Also I wouldn't worry too much about using the cream for more than 3 days, i was told not to use my cream on large surface areas and to only use for a few days as well, i was covering my legs in it though for a couple weeks and hey, i'm still here, so i'm sure you'll be fine

Ahh the ice really does give a lot of relief though, definitely try it.

I always seem to attract every insect in the area when I go outside, so I feel your pain!

My best advice would be to go to the chemist, and show the bites. They will then suggest the best cream for them - this is what I always do and it does help. Also, as itchy as they are, try your hardest not scratch them as this will only make them itchier. Best of luck!
