    Books?
Hi I really need some good books over the summer to read. I've read books such as clockwork orange and all the John Green books. I like thought provoking book and also slightly controversial ones. Not a massive fan of the hunger games series or any vampire/mythological theme.

    Thank you

Any books by Ellen Hopkins - they are incredibly thought provoking and deep. They are written in prose, which may put you off, but I highly recommend them. Once you get used to the style of writing they are amazing books. I would start with Crank or Impulse.

If you prefer classics, I suggest John Steinbeck, George Orwell, or The Book Thief by Markus Zusak (one of my favourite books)
