In the same week as Physics i have Business and Computing.

Predicted a B for Physics so hoping to achieve that.

I'm doing the Revised course but hey ho - same date, same time, some of the same questions
I'm leaving all my revision for Physics until after Maths, majorly cramming for that for the next few days aha, as I have basically the whole week, although I do have my French exams but they don't require much work.
I'm hoping for an A in Physics, I got a B in my first prelim then an A in my second which raised my overall prelim to a very low A (something like 75.6% or something ) I'm hoping for almost no electricity in it (even though it's only a half unit in my course!) and loads of unit 3 I'm honestly really iffy with the theory, my maths skills just gets me through the calculations

It's Unit 1 that I find the hardest really. Unit 3 is very easy and Unit 2 can have a challenging question or two. Hope that this thread can help with my revision xD

I get so confused with all the horizontal and vertical nonsense! I can't work out how to split the two and use each one and yeah, I just find it hard

Unit 3 is good, I like that. Unit 1 I'm fine with forces, mom & impulse gas laws etc... Some of the projectile questions can be tricky

yeah it can be a little confusing! but if you remember the if two things are going in opposite directions who is negetive, and you should be fine!

If you mean you're not sure how to split something like "a shell is fired at 300 m/s at an elevation of 30 degrees" into horizontal components, then you can draw your triangle and remember SOH CAH TOA, or alternatively there's "along the cos-idor and up the sine". Don't know if either of these help :p:

I'm scared for it, but feel I'll do okay. Done revision for a few months before study leave, but haven't done any in a few weeks as I've been focusing on other subjects. Hoping for an A Realistically a B though probably

I always seem to drop a high amount of marks on the description questions anyone else? It's alright for unit one, but for unit two especially I seem to lack knowledge in basic circuit theory which sucks.. going to go over them with my tutor again and hoping it helps - but he thinks there's going to be quite a lot of these type of questions this year since (according to him) in the new course there's lots of descriptions!

Funnily, that seems to be where I rack up the most marks Calculations are fine, but seeing as I have a tendancy to be careless, I seem to screw up in the most ridiculous calculations.

Is anyone else a little bit worried about when they're going to fit in their physics revision? I've studied quite hard for physics before study leave, but with 3 exams in the next week, I'm worried that I'll be somewhat neglecting it...

Ahh I'm jealous then haha! I think I just have a tendency to not actually read the questions haha, maybe that's where I'm going wrong..

I have the same problem too with history - just because of the crazy amount of knowledge/quotes I need to relearn, and I know I've still got a lot to improve on with physics, and since so many of my friends complained about chemistry I'm preeetty worried

I also do chemistry along with physics the chemistry exam had no different or particularly challenging questions in it, so hoping physics is the same!

Aw you've made me feel a little bit better, but my best friend is a chemistry genius - she got 90% in one prelim, 95% in the next - and she was majorly stressed! Then again, she always exaggerates haha! Hoping there's a nice easy vector/equation of motions questions to start off with though..

well there was definately nothing unusual in there I would kill for a slope question tbh! but i don't really mind the unit 1 questions at all
