To do Master's degree in the UK
    Dear students,

I need your help. I'd like to do some Master in UK and don't know where to start.
At first I have a sport management undergraduate degree, from EU. I mean Bachelor degree. I graduated as "summa cum laude".

1, How can I look for postgraduate courses? How do you call it? Master? Because I am not sure.

2, And here is my big problem. Can I apply for different management studies? Like International Management or Education Management or Business Administration or Art Management? I'd like to change the field of my studies.

I know what are the most important requirements
    - language exam (IELTS)
    - pay the fees (so much money)
    - job (see previous point)
    - time to study, work and enjoy my life

Please, give me some advice or recommend some website. Any information helps a lot.

    peace

-yes, you can change your field. Most univeristies in the U.K are quite flexible.I know people with humanities degrees that had master's in management
-IELTS.most universities ask for 6.5 or 7, depending on the subject
    - www.mastersportal.eu is very good place to look for a master's degree
-the fees depend on each university and whether you are an UK/EU or international student

Sure, you can somewhat change fields. Going from sport management to business management or the like shouldn't be too difficult as it remains in the management area. You should talk to your former lecturers about your intention to attend graduate school and ask them about which universities offer programs in your intended field of study. You can also look at the "graduate prospectus" of the universities you know of and see what they offer. (But of course this does not help if you don't know much about UK universities.) You forgot letters of recommendation in your list of requirements. They are much more important, generally speaking, than language exams and work experience. Being able to pay the fees is not a requirement in the sense that this only comes into play after you get an offer. But of course, it is pointless to apply to programs you cannot pay for, unless they offer scholarships.

    kassiopeia,

Thank you very much. I believe you and what you are saying sounds great.
I will check the website you recommended.

    Can I ask further questions?

When I will apply for a Master course how will they choose me instead of a good student from Zimbabwe - for example? I mean I already have the Bachelor degree with marks. I will have an IELTS certificate I hope with high marks. What else do I need? How can I be sure they will choose me? I guess for one place there are more than ten applicants. Right?

I don't want to go to Oxford or Cambridge but would like to get into a good uni.

    Thank you again.

    All the best,

you should start apllying now. Most UK universities do accept applications till summer but that again depends on each university. It depends on a lot of things.First of all your grades, your CV, your personal statement and the competition(how many places are there and the other candidates).

First of all start looking at universities and see which ones interest you. Then check the requirements for each course.
