    Guns: Solution or Problem
I wanted to know, do people consider guns and owning fire arms as a solution to trouble or a problem that further causes trouble and more problems.... I'm sure the answer lies somewhere in the middle.

I think that the principal reason why firearm crime is so high in the US is not because firearms are easy to obtain, or are too extensively proliferated through society. It's due to the Second Amendment making it a God-given right to own a firearm, rather than a privilege.

I look forward to hearing your responses, thoughts and ideas.

I believe that guns are going to be had by criminals whether they are legal or not, and that restricting the supply only leaves the public more vulnerable. That said, I do not believe there is any real reason to legalise handguns, or Automatic rifles for the public.

I believe that those who can justify a shooting licence with enough land to shoot safely, or access to land to shoot safely, should be able to own guns which are not handguns or semi-automatic, and i think the law is about fine as it is.

You can't avoid some crime in a free society.
