Religion is a good thing, and can be culturally positive. However it's clearly obvious for so many reasons that God doesn't exist.

Because it doesn't answer the question?
Do you think you'd learn anything if, every time you ever asked a question at school, the teacher simply said "God", and nothing else?

But anyway, your explanation as to why killing babies is wrong: "God".
Okay, what if God told you that he wants you to kill babies. Would that make it right? Would you do it?

you asked about morals, and what makes them so, my answer is God.

that would go against the nature of god, he wouldn't do that...

that would be arbitrary morality (plato).
you have to be an atheist to join

Well then, what if it didn't go against the nature of God, and then he asked you to kill babies? Now is it ok?
Or is God unable to do this?

It's certainly not easy, finding a decent supplier of babies is a nightmare!

Why thank you, that's very kind. I'd say the same about you, but mummy taught me not to lie.

Exactly - so if the individual you call "God" decided that it was fine to kill babies, you would say "No, it is still wrong to kill babies". Which means your simple explanation of "God" is incomplete.
Anyway: There's the subjective element to your explanation. God, a conscious observer, is the subject.

So what? Your opinion of good doesn't matter because god commands what is good at what isn't. God could think it's compassionate to do such a thing.
I think it is a huge issue to the theistic, Abrahamic God.

you asked if his action was moral, he didn't murder anyone, so why wouldn't it be..

compassionate |kəmˈpa sh ənət|
adjective
feeling or showing sympathy and concern for others.

that would be contradictory..

as well as arbitrary, this has been covered by plato.
thats moral...
