Re: AQA GCSE Spanish 21st and 25th May 2012I thought I was the only one. I found the listening much easier.(Original post by terry1234)
Did anyone find the listening easier than the reading? Personally the listening had easier vocabulary that most people would know whereas the reading had verbs and trick words that not many people would know or get the answer to. Did anyone find this or was it just me? I found that in the reading question 10 was by far the hardest question (the one about the future holidays) How has everyone done with their speaking and writing? -
Re: AQA GCSE Spanish 21st and 25th May 2012Overall, I thought the listening was harder than the reading but I think I did better in the listening(Original post by terry1234)

Re: AQA GCSE Spanish 21st and 25th May 2012
i think it wil b higher than the listening but generally I think spanish has lower grade boundaries probs cos of the amount that take it and the trick questions they put in it. I found spanish reading verging on easy- though i no ive made a few silly mistakes but found the listening SO hard. I think most people i've spoken to have been the same in finding one of them good but the other bad. does anyone know results day? I keep forgetting and want to write it down :/

Re: AQA GCSE Spanish 21st and 25th May 2012i did, i did the relationship question and also the unexpected poem was alright, i think i rambled on though. haha. oh well. and the english lesson that we had before the test, we studied a question, and the actual question on the paper was freaking similar to the one we practised, i'm lucky! freaking love my teacher!(Original post by SuperStaceyX)
On another note, did any one else do the English Literature Poetry (AQA) paper today? I thought it was such a great paper! Good questions, I was so happy!

I put homework and relax. Descansar means to rest, so I think sleep probably counts as that lol
Depends how picky the examiner is though I suppose, I might not get the mark for mine either :/
i put to sleep at first, then slash rest, but then i thought well she cant rest if she doesnt sleep. so hopefully, i got that one!

Did anyone do the "Relationships" cluster?
I also found that the unseen poem was actually easy to answer! To think I was panicking over nothing
i did, i did the one where you had to do quickdraw, i chose hour to go with it because we just analyse both poems before the exam with a similar exam questions so i love ittttttttttttttt!
the unseen poem i rambled on! -
Re: AQA GCSE Spanish 21st and 25th May 2012it was juan, amanda and Álvado(Original post by Adriennet)
same the other person was one beginning with A but i cant remember the exact name.
it wasnt the others because one said I want to go - implying it isnt definite- one said its conditional with test results and one said that yesterday they looked at them with friends but there was no more left. =) -
Re: AQA GCSE Spanish 21st and 25th May 2012for the listening - pretty low, something like 28 for a*(Original post by KazM)
What do you all think the grade boundaries will be?
reading - maybe 34 for a*?
just my estimates -
Re: AQA GCSE Spanish 21st and 25th May 2012Sameee. The reading was much easier.(Original post by 310796)
i thought the reading was waaaaaaaaaaaaay easier than the listening. i counted my marks and ive got a possible of 40 marks, which im quite happy about. i just found the 2nd question quite tricky. oh well, that was only two marks! -
Re: AQA GCSE Spanish 21st and 25th May 2012
I'm a bit frustrated, did AQA spanish and was predicted A* in Writing, A in speaking, A in Reading and B in Listening. So overall that should be an A, right?? However, I collected my results today to see that I got a B in Writing, B in speaking, A in Reading and C in Listening... WHAT??? Overall I got a B, not happy at all
What do you think I should do?? Has anybody had a similar result??

Re: AQA GCSE Spanish 21st and 25th May 2012yeah because the coursework offered higher UMS marks so 2 high B's and 2 high D's should equal perhaps a low B if the B's were course work ... i hope that makes sense :L(Original post by paigelaura)
Oh I got an A* in the writing, A in speaking, B in reading and D in listening and got a B overall too...but people who got two ds in the exams and got Bs in their coursework still managed to get Bs too.

I've got this paper as a mock tomorrow, what sort of topic should I revise?
...i remember that coming up (i think in the listening
)
