    AS Level help needed URGENT
I failed all my AS levels in January Maths,Physics,Geography and ICT and I've just done my maths both Core 1 and 2 and also my physics mechanics resits and I fell I've let myself down badly as I've been ordering Prospectus's from great universities and now I feel as a failure as I really wanted to get into Birmingham/Manchester . Anyone got any help it would be appreeciated greatly as I've also got 6 exams remaining.

    Work your butt of.
I've recently realised that if you get B's in your AS or even a C you can still get an A* as your final grade.
If you get C's in your AS and lets say get extremely lucky and get 100% in your A2 exam you can come out with an A* .
So it's not all gloom and doom dude

What's done is done, don't dwell on the past. Just focus on these final exams and if they don't turn out right, well you could probably resit year 12 or choose different subjects and take a gap year

I thought you needed at least 80% at AS level to get an A*, and 90% at A2 :/

But yeah just work as hard as you can for these exams, you can always do resits next year. Just remember to get on your subject teachers' good sides between now and the time that they predict your grades for A2!

Nope, you need an overall of 80% and in A2 you need 90%+.
People don't normally get higher in A2 then they did in AS so that's why they say that

You're right, even though i've left school i'm still finding out about my teachers' lies!
That's kind of rubbish if you get say 75%, and you give up on your A* for A2 because you believe them. :unimpressed:

the situation with the A* is quite lame.
I know a guy who can only get an A* or a B in Maths as his final grade .
