Im off for the day and have been for the past few days, and have no contact with anyone except my parents.

talk to people at night clubs? I hope you mean hobby clubs that occur in the evening. Night clubs as in dancing, drunks and loud music probably aren't his thing, plus it's difficult to talk in those

I think the gym is a really good way to meet people I've been a member for 2 months and already recognise and speak to near enough everyone that goes at the same time as me!
There's nothing wrong with starting a conversation with a complete stranger, it just shows you're friendly and outgoing

why dont you try going to a social club, if your village hasnt got one then i bet their is a town or village near by that has . Also there are special social clubs for people with depression or disabilitys or people who just dont socialise a lot like you and they have lots of activitys and trips and fun days out . Also there are lots of groups out there that offer activites for people who could do with making friends aND these groups are run by very suportive people they have jewelery making classes rambling groups art ACTIVITES AND LOTS OF OTHER STUFF ! If you dont know of any groups like that in your area speak to your gp/doctor and they will be able to tell you the nearest place that has groups like that and they will probely have some more social activity groups to recomend to you . Hope you find somwhere nice x

I can understand how you feel , depends on where you are really bloomblaze there maybe things you could do or go to see? do you drive? I understand how you feel at times as my friends live 45 mins away from me and have lives of there own , also i dont have a bf to spend time with and live with my mum and sister so its difficult but i can drive anywhere i'd like although its nicer to experience somethings with someone else rather than on your own.
