they are all very reactive (especially with water) and they are soft and shiny to cut

Huh? I said they are alkali metals and form solutions with PH higher than 7 and he predicted they had similar chemical properties.

Hey!
I compared Charge of the Light Brigade to Out of the Blue as one shows bravery throughout, and the other feels like giving up at the end... But I seem to have been the only one to compare these two!

Also, how did anyone find the Edexcel P3 exam this morning?!

YOU CANNOT TALK ABOUT EDEXCEL EXAMS UNTIL TOMORROW!!! YOU'LL GET WARNING POINTS ETC.

just to let you know...
YES YES YES YES!!!! Ozymandias
Only poem I revised along with The River God

What section did you guys do? I did relationships

I don't think you allowed to talk about this yet ( even though it's a section ) and is this EDEXCEL?
Original post by starienight
same here for english we did relationships so I did the first question and then what did you talk about for the unseen?
i cannot even remember, i always think with science or maths if I dwell on them I get all stressed

I did conflict  The unseen was about conflict, so was more comfortable with that
I talked about the childs feelings, what the poet intended and how the varying sentence length represents the childs erratic emotions etc

I haven't read the context of this but if this is AQA Chemistry

1) All react violently with water
2) Dissolve in Solution to form Hydroxides - Alkali Metals

yeh - i hope soft etc is on there... i'm sure its in the text book. It was to do with why he grouped them together, its because of the properties so i put examples of properties.. hope that's right :s-smilie:
I thought english was quite hard! But then i don't know cos it just depends on whether or not the examiner likes the style of writing. I didn't like the fact that the focus was on language =[.

Is it just me or do these exams feel really relaxed.. Like they're not even our GCSE's... I reckon the mocks were more daunting

I know what you mean. But knowing my luck, I bet after writing that physics on wednesday will make me want to die.
