Re: Current Year 11 thread mark III (woo!) / Year 12 2012/13Ah good. I have A for language: A in coursework and A in exam.(Original post by matty123)
B for Lit
C for Langauge (2 marks off a B), so I have worked that I will need As in the Langauge exams to get a B.
Any tips at all please on the reading and writing papers
Literature I have a C for coursework: 24/40. What mark you get there?
I don't have any general tips as such. For the transactionalwriting (I think that is what it's called) you really do need some evocative vocabulary though! I have no general tips really but if you need some specific help I would be more than happy to help!
Btw what texts did you do for literature? -
Re: Current Year 11 thread mark III (woo!) / Year 12 2012/13My exam was tough overall, I thought. Thanks for asking. The programming wasn't that bad although one of the things I thought might come up and practiced I failed to do properly in the exam(Original post by c3ntury)
It's pretty much similar behaviour, although I'm sure for mySQL records you'd perhaps be dependent on different modules and such.
How did your exam go?
Hopefully I'll do ok though
How've your exams been?

Happy birthday, Not just a year older, but a year better.
Here's to the years coming and good luck in the rest of your exams
Just because it's your birthday I'm not going to revise in honorary, tbh I wasn't going to revsie anyways
P.S my birthday is coming up on Monday, thank god there's no exams on that day
Really nice words and I'll try my best to remember that Monday is your birthday
Thanks!!
Lol thanks for wishing me on time (remember I was err...about a day or so late in wishing you

I did it in January(Original post by Kwaku_96)
Is anyone else doing the ICT 'Living In A Digital World' exam? Well, it seems so hard.
its not too bad as long as you know the keywords well, and have a thorough knowledge of the advantages and disadvantages of different things!
ooh and do as many past papers as you can!

Re: Current Year 11 thread mark III (woo!) / Year 12 2012/13It wasn't too bad to be fair, the timing was pretty crap but the actual questions weren't too bad. Managed to get an A* so it can't have gone too badly!

As long as you have a sound grasp of the content and have nailed exam technique then you should be fine!

Re: Current Year 11 thread mark III (woo!) / Year 12 2012/13I don't know my mark, she just told me it was a B lol. How much did you roughly write for each question? Thanks(Original post by GreenLantern1)

.
And tbh I would have rather had a C in lit and an A/B in Langauge
.
For lit, I did Heroes, Hobson's Choice and Of Mice and Men.
