Advice would be use more than one history text book to help you because one book will not give you all the detail to help you get a high grade like an A*, not most of the time anyways. Make notes and use revision cards to write down dates and then test yourself on what happened on those dates, make posters and mind maps for example 'how did hitler become chancellor on 30 Jan 1933', make a minimal starting from how he increased his chances which would start from the Munich putsch on 8 November 1923 to the fact that von paper and Hindenburg tried to make him vice chancellor and then agreed to make him chancellor but simply as a way of controlling him. Let me know if you need any notes I'm quite at remembering things for history, but ive already recently started learning about the great depression for America

Me I have 2. USA Depth Study with International Relations: 1919-1939 on the 12th and source based paper on how British society has changed 1945-1975 on the 15th... What are yours on? Just spent my afternoon going through the revision guide and my folder making notes on The Peace Treaties and League of Nations, not doing any more today!
