Chelmsford here and I used to go to Westcliff for Boys before transferring here so played cricket against your school

i'll probably die... i get so tired after 1 exam! i don't know if that's an english thing or what! so god knows what i'll be like on the 30th! if you don't hear from me, you'll know why! it's pretty irritating... because the vocab you need to know for the reading paper a week later is the same for listening, so i wouldn't mind doing it on the same day or really soon! you don't really need a week! it's my induction and then prom a couple of days after, so it's not till july that i can just chill back! i'm really looking forward to summer! i have relatives over some point in july from america which should be fun! probably see family friends, maybe friends and unwind and enjoy myself before AS starts! in august i'll probably go crazy thinking on no it's results time soon! what about you? you actually should! i'm not even joking! you are going to write a song on the environment and upload it on youtube so i can listen! also IN you interview for cambridge, just bang out the guitar and start playing the song... i'm sure the interviewer will love how cross-curricular you are!
I get tired just thinking about the exam before even taking it! But that does sound pretty bad having German that late :/ Makes me glad that I took French.. I've done both of the exams already I'm not actually going to my prom.. It wasn't organised by the school so a group of friends and I are now going to do something by ourselves instead I'm off on a music tour around Europe for a bit to start summer! But apart from that I'm probably just going to enjoy my brief period of relaxation before Sixth form yeah! Who knows.. If I get bored enough this summer I actually might! Just out of interest, what sort of music are you in to? Oh yeah, they'll give me a place on the spot, guitar is just a key part of geography

Haha it's fine! Ad I knew TOWIE would be brought up somewhere I die a bit inside when people think everyone in Essex are like them haha. Liverpool! I used to live near Liverpool in a village called St. Helens! Ring any bells?
Don't worry, I don't think everyone from there is like that hahaha, I don't even watch TOWIE! I just have a lot friends that do haha. People don't really have a very good impression of scousers either tbf :P

And yeah, definitely! I have friends there Wow, must've been a big move! I moved up from London 5 years ago, it was terrifying!

Yeah it is haha! And sadly, we did but I don't care anymore because I've moved so they can lose as many times as they want now I never expected anyone this close either! Only about 20 miles from each other

I prefer sports tbh, don't really listen to or play much music I've heard your Sixth Form is pretty good too! I have a few friends there who have went to Southend and who are still there! You didn't miss much in the open evenings... I went and it was just some students doing some experiments to show you what science is like here haha

I'm far too lazy to do any sports! And I guess ours is quite good but I would've liked to have seen yours considering your school is like 5th in the country or something crazy like that isn't it? Our open evening wasn't much better to be fair!

Our school is quite up there yes But I'm sure as long as you get to wherever you want to go after Sixth Form (whichever university) then it doesn't really matter which sixth form you went to! I guess Open Evenings don't show the true potential of the school students then

How'd you end up transferring there from Westcliff? And where do you want to go for uni?

it does suck, i have to admit! after half-term is awful for me i have an exam consecutively mostly and some days two exams! i'm so jeal over french! really, if i knew the benefits in year 9 i may have actually opted for french! how did you find french? our prom doesn't sound too great and it's fairly expensive but my best friend is on the committee and she's strongly persuading me to go, so i said fine! wow, that sounds great! which places do you visit? i am actually really versatile when it comes to music, i like pop, r&b, some country (a couple of artists), i like some classical too! i like all sorts! what about you? give examples too of like a recent song you like or are into! they both begin with g of course, a big common spot just to begin with!

Well, a couple of people left our school after the first half-term in Yr 8 so our school held an exam called the 13+ (original! ) where we had a science, English, maths and French paper. I can't believe I got in, along with someone else, because I knew nothing about French!! I guess luck was on my side that day aiming for a London uni to study medicine, what uni do you want to go to and to do what?

clearly! it's ridiculous how many of my indian friends want to do medicine! maths, further maths, physics, chemistry! you can only take 4 in my school and i decided those were the best 4! although some parts of me if i could take 5 would love to have studied biology or economics as a fifth! what about you? let me guess, maths and all three sciences?

Ouch I've only got 9 after half term! I got most of them out the way beforehand! And yeah.. It just turns out that opting for french turned out to be the way forward And I guess it was okay.. There was a question about a guide dog on the reading paper that I didn't really understand but turns out that no one understood it And I would've gone had it been organised by the school and had I had anyone to take with me! Erm.. We're going to Italy and Germany I think And I'm into pretty much everything too.. Although I do tend to prefer Indie/Rock stuff.. I've been listening to Creep by Radiohead quite a bit.. And a lot of Arctic Monkeys as well as Muse What are your favourite songs/artists? And oh yeah They'll spot the link straight away! I'll do a geography degree, focussing mainly on music.. That's bound to work

Very original! And you must've been glad! I'm sure you'll end up there if you go to a school like you do I'm hoping to end up on Cambridge (fingers crossed) even though I know that's extremely unlikely And I'd like to study Geography (mainly environmental geography)
