I'm fed up of revision, what's your favourite type of cake
    Hello all.
I have been so absorbed in revising the dreaded physics/chemistry, that I almost, but not quite, managed to forget about nice matters, such as cake.
What's your favourite type of cake? Jam sponge? Or perhaps a lovely rich chocolate cake? Revision has gone out the window, and baking is very de-stressing!

    Carrot with cream cheese frosting.

Or red velvet (yes, I know the colouring alone is horribly bad for you )

Fruit cheesecake, chocolate fudge cake, carrot cake...

Funnily enough, one of the few cakes I try to avoid is the typical white, iced birthday cake.

If the chocolate fudge cake is served warm with vanilla ice-cream and chocolate sauce then thats the clear winner for me!

Darn, this thread is making me hungry!

AHH it is fantastic!!! I currently have a jam and cream sponge cake in my house. I will slowly but surely devour it slice by slice. (with tea - non optional)
