Can I turn an egg from the Supermarket into a chicken?
Basically I was just wondering if I could buy some eggs and maybe if i keep them warm to act as an incubator, might any of them turn into chicks? Or would I have to get some eggs straight from a farm and incubate them? That way they wont have been refrigerated. Or is it just not possible at all?
Don't think I would actually do it though (unless it was really easy), was just wondering

Chicken's eggs are generally the equivalent of a woman's period, otherwise you'd crack the egg and a disgusting dead chicken foetus would come out instead of a yolk. They're un-fertilised because farmers keep hens and roosters apart if they're selling eggs, rather than breeding them. More eggs that way.
Awesome idea, but sadly, no

they're right in the sense that they are releasing an egg that is unfertilised which does happen as part of our cycle(Original post by james1211)

yes, you have to sit on it for 9 months in a chicken costume so you dont confuse the baby chicken when it hatches.
Repped.
