    Software for basic website?
Basically I need to make a basic 5-6 page website quickly, so looking for something simple/template based. I've made them in the past pretty much fully in notepad, and also in frontpage, but that was years ago and I'm in a rush. I have hosting available just need some software. Need to be able to make it in under 3 hours or so, all recommendations appreciated.

Thanks, aren't all these online though? I need to upload it to my specific hosting, hence why I think software would be easier, so I can ftp it over.

This one that I linked provides template downloads. Just copy pages and edit.

Thanks, that's great, on dreamspark I presume. That's what we used at uni, so I'll grab that.

    Cheers.

If you have your own server, Joomla or Wordpress might be good for you. Easy and relatively quick to install and start editing your website.

I do have my own server although it's in my room and doesn't host sites, just media.

However this is just a uni assignment and we have to use their hosting and it's only a one time thing, won't be used again, will just use expression web as it's what we used in lectures.

    Cheers guys.
