train from Birmingham to Bristol is easy enough and only like 2 hours, from Bristol you can get most places in Somerset we are likely to go I expect
If somebody would be really kind and meet me off the train at Bristol then I'd probably come otherwise I'm likely to get lost

If I can make it, I'd probably be getting the train there too so we could meet up. (I just checked, £8, not bad at all...I believe the central station is Temple Meads).

yep, Temple Meads is a big station so be surprised if you can't get from there to anywhere we go.

I would literally have no idea how to get to Somerset so I don't think I'll be able to make it.
Depending on where I am starting from, I might be able to give you a lift (I plan to travel there with a full car of you smelly lot ). If I can't give you a lift, we can help you plan to get to the nearest train station, and then I will be shuttling people from there to the site.

I will also have a car with three spaces, depending on whether or not I will be allowed to take it all the way south to Somerset from near Manchester because it is actually my Mum's car...

Okay, great stuff. Me coming still depends on loads of things but I'll try my best to come.

Not long until dates decided then, holding off on setting concrete plans until I know the dates as I want to go

    I know, I know - I'm late

    Dates!

    Starting on Sunday 15th July
Current plan is to finish on Friday 20th July

You are welcome to come for as long or as little as you like.
Can people say when they want to arrive, and when they want to leave please?

Lastly, I am happy to drive 5 people there. However, I would need to know who would like a lift and where from. If anyone else wants to travel together, this can be arranged better if we know where you are. So if you want to post (roughly) where you will be travelling from (county is fine or a major city you can get to easily), we can try and arrange something.

If I could get a lift from Wolverhampton or Birmingham that would be brilliant. Otherwise I will have to look at the cost of trains although I have a feeling it would be horribly expensive.

I'd love a lift from Birmingham or near by as well, a pick up from stoke would be even better

Those dates look good to me, I think! I assume a plan on tents and other things will be sorted in a few weeks as well?

I'm in Birmingham too if anybody wants to travel together. Are we going to an actual camp site? With actual toilets? Please say yes, and not that we're pitching up in some random wood

I have something planned on the 16th, but it's possible to move it if I do so on time. I'm still not 100% sure I want to go yet though, but I'll think about it.

I should be able to do that. I'll be in Nottingham or Stoke (if you're swinging by that way) if you have room in your car Rob? Otherwise I'm okay travelling down

15th-20th is do-able I expect, unless something comes up anyway.

Sounds good, I think at most I'll only be able to do 15th to 17th, assuming I don't chicken out...
