Can I freeze it and use it as an ice cube?
it's for stopping you from consuming all the factory. No ice-cubing it please.

Re: Depression Society Camping Trip! (And possible other Summer Fun Times)Down south somewhere(Original post by AntisthenesDogger)
I likely could make it, I'll be back from Germany before then.
I'd need more specifics though. (I don't even know where Somerset is)

Re: Depression Society Camping Trip! (And possible other Summer Fun Times)Can it be used in humorous drinking game-based bets?(Original post by Alofleicester)

Re: Depression Society Camping Trip! (And possible other Summer Fun Times)But but you said that you'd buy it. My universe is crumbling.(Original post by Alofleicester)
If it actually existed then yes.

Re: Depression Society Camping Trip! (And possible other Summer Fun Times)This is acceptable, yes.(Original post by Alofleicester)
I've no idea where to get a glass eye from though. How about a ping-pong ball with a pupil drawn on it?
Can I smore all over everybody's face while they're sleeping?(Original post by Noodlzzz)
SMORES. I demand we make smokes. And drink a lot. That is all.
-
Re: Depression Society Camping Trip! (And possible other Summer Fun Times)That would be great.(Original post by Loz17)
So long as work doesn't get in the way I might make an appearance but I don't know if I can afford to actually camp. I'll just travel instead and stay for the day. Seeing as I'll be in Devon over July/August it is feasible.
You can come and sing songs about cider with us! Depending on the tent and sleeping bag situation it could actually be pretty cheap and easy for you to stay with us just for a night if you liked - last year we could easily have snuck in an extra person for a bit if we'd wanted to, and the actual camping is usually only a few quid a night.

We can go to a farm theme park! Pet cute fluffy animals and go on a roller coaster, can't get much better than that.(Original post by ViceVersa)
I would really like it if we did like the camping one alongside a 'day' one to somewhere like a theme park?
Haha(Original post by superwolf)
Thatcher's factory!
Have to say - if you take me there I'm not sure how you're ever gonna get me back out again.
There's also several museums about Cider. We went to one on a school trip in primary school, but we didn't get any samples
Brean is ****ing horrible(Original post by SciFiBoy)
can do, only actual theme/leisure park that's in the area itself though is this one - http://www.brean.com/
I made the mistake of going once...

Re: Depression Society Camping Trip! (And possible other Summer Fun Times)Do they have goats?(Original post by bullettheory)

is the only thing like that around though really, at least that's a more general park rather than specific things.
you mean like Avon Valley Country Park?Last edited by SciFiRory; 18-05-2012 at 16:11. -

Woo camping! If I'm still here I'd definitely be up for that. It was awesome fun last year so I have high hopes for this year. And going to a cider factory sounds amazing. I have been to a brewery before, it was great.

You'd better ****ing come! (PM me what your plans for the summer are by the way, got some of my own up my sleeve that could coincide...)
That's it. I am moving to Somerset and dedicating my life to Cider. You may all come and visit, and if I haven't yet lost the ability to walk in a straight line I'll give guided tours of all the breweries and museums and gutters of the area.(Original post by bullettheory)

No stealy goats! Not til we've got our island at any rate. -
Re: Depression Society Camping Trip! (And possible other Summer Fun Times)See I don't own a sleeping bag or anything to make life difficult(Original post by superwolf)

Re: Depression Society Camping Trip! (And possible other Summer Fun Times)They used to, so I'm sure they still do!
Yeah it is just really like Butlins more though rather than a theme park.(Original post by SciFiBoy)

And yeah something like that - Crealy (is in Devon admittedly, but only slightly) is the one I was thinking of, I never been to Avon Valley, is that the one near Keynsham? -
Re: Depression Society Camping Trip! (And possible other Summer Fun Times)It'll be fine - there'll most likely be several floating around, I know last year I offered to bring my mum's as a spare if anybody needed it (don't think I had to in the end though), and most likely other people can do the same.
That or there's the option of us all just snuggling up in a great big depsoc pile.

Re: Depression Society Camping Trip! (And possible other Summer Fun Times)Yes! Best idea ever. Drink cider all day and listen to the wurzels. Slowly I will convert the whole world to the move to Somerset, and say gert lush.(Original post by superwolf)
