    Higher English SQA 2012
I chose question 12, about a complex character for poetry and wrote it on War Photographer. I am really worried that my poem didn't refer to the question. I talked about how the Photographer was a complex character having to deal with two different worlds, one at Home and one at War and how he was complex as he had to deal with the horrors and suffering he viewed at the War and so on...

Would someone be able to put my mind to rest and tell me if this seems okay or would I fail because of it? :/
How did everyone else find the exam?

I did this question too, but for King Billy. I have the exact same worry as you do because i wasn't as familiar with this text as some of the others. I went to see my teacher afterwards and she layed my mind at rest as when i explained to her what I did, she could only agree. The only advice i could give you is to go and speak to your teacher about it, I'm sure she will be able to make you feel better about it But don't dwell in the past, concentrate on your next exam, there is nothing more you can do

Makes me feel a bit better, I am assuming if your teacher agreed then it must have been fine I would ask my teacher but I learned the poem with my tutor who I have not seen in a couple of weeks. I will just need to hope for the best as I thought my analysis was quite well done and I did relate to the question every so often, hopefully it's fine!
